part one: the basics.
first we have the fedora. a fan favorite. timeless, really.
next, the sunhat. i like this hat because it actually keeps the sun out of my eyes. and it has a wide enough rim that it's dramatic.
the biggest problem is wind. |
winter hats, appropriate to the current season.
hand-knit by a dear friend. i picked out the colors ;) |
part two: the round hats. pretty simple, possibly boring. sometimes they make me feel like a scarecrow. fancied-up by strips of lace and gold cloth, or nothing.
part three: random hats...i own way to many hats that don't really fit into catagories.
the top hat. ancient, held together by hot glue, probably an antique.
i tend to wear this to dances, or when the outfit is just horrendously boring. |
PLAID!
(that pattern is the best thing that ever happened to human kind, except for maybe indoor plumbing). |
flower power? i don't know.
this hat is made out of sort of sheer silky material, and is slightly to big for me. |
this picture makes me look like a fabulous undercover spy, but the hat itself is just an overly fancy, velvet thing. |
aaaand...the polka-dots. |
HAPPY HANUKKAH, MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY SOLSTICE, HAPPY KWANZAA...
