dress like an era: the 60's

On the runways of Prada, Jil Sander, Holly Fulton, and Nina Ricci to name a few: The Return of The 60's. Here we found our favorite icons of the swingin' 60's. Sophia Loren (mega-glamorous Italian movie star), Edie Sedgwick (Andy Warhol's muse), and Twiggy (no explanation required).

Well, La-di-da: Annie Hall (libby)

It was a good movie, and although i liked Carol Kane better than Diane Keaton, the latter's clothes had me pounding the floor in agony wishing for her glasses. Haha. Just kidding. Also, the other day when i was wearing (in my humble opinion) the single most coolest hat on the planet, a friend asked if i wanted to be Annie Hall when i grow up. I'm not quite sure was a compliment, but I'm pretending it was. So i was inspired.

This is Diane Keaton in the above mentioned, and one of Woody Allen's most famous, movies:

I tried to not only modernize the look but make it a bit more colorful. hence the blue polka-dotted shirt. (pardon the bad quality.)
from the top: Kokin hat, Tripp NYC vest, Micheal Kehoe tie, Divided by H&M shirt, Liz Claiborne khakis (classy, right?)

Favorite quote from the movie: "A relationship, I think, is like a shark. You know? It has to constantly move forward or it dies. And I think what we got on our hands is a dead shark."

LOVE/VOLE

We saw the Love Magazine covers starring Hailee Steinfeld, Elle Fanning and Chloe Moretz and we were, of course, jealous. They are our age (okay, a little younger), and they get to wear the amazing designer dresses that we deserve.
We realize that the chances of our being on the cover of Love are slim, but if you happen to be an editor for said magazine, call us!
Taking advantage of our home-made photo-shooting environment (in the freezing cold), our talent for imitating possessed people, and using the same four letters, we found a magazine that wanted us.
Introducing...Vole! (coming to a newsstand near you)

missrepresented!

This is a very important film to see. I think that they should make it mandatory to show it in all high schools, but they probably never will. People don't normally like to talk about problems that are risque or expose something that we don't want to see. Point being, you should see this movie, and make all of your friends see it as well. Then, START A CONVERSATION.
